Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Kingdom Initiative - Christian Improvement District (C.I.D) Limited (“Kingdom Initiative”, “we”, “us”) is a private company limited by guarantee, without share capital, registered in England and Wales under company number 17535746 (incorporated 22 October 2026). Kingdom Initiative is not a registered charity.
The registered office is 103 Welham Road, Streatham, London, SW16 6QH, United Kingdom. Contact: kingdominitiativecid@gmail.com.
The company is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy, as it determines the purposes and means of the processing.
ICO Data Protection Fee: Based on our current activities and the ICO’s self-assessment, Kingdom Initiative is not presently required to pay the ICO data protection fee. We will reassess this position as our activities develop. This does not affect our obligations under UK GDPR.
2. What this website currently does
This website is currently informational. It has no public submission forms: the contributor and collaboration forms are paused, and research findings are not displayed. That does not mean no personal information is processed. We handle personal information in the following ways:
- Visiting the website: our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and times, in hosting and security logs.
- Emails you choose to send us: your email address, name and anything you write or attach, received and stored in our Gmail account.
- Historical website submissions: contributor-interest and collaboration-enquiry forms submitted before the forms were paused (name, email, expertise, availability, optional LinkedIn profile, organisation, messages and consent choices, with the wording and time agreed or withdrawn). These remain in our restricted website database.
- Historical research records: selected multiple-choice and rating answers from our research questionnaire, with Microsoft Forms reference numbers, completion times and respondent groups, remain in our restricted database. They are pseudonymised, not anonymous: an administrator can link a reference number to the full response and email address held in Microsoft Forms. We also hold a private snapshot of grouped totals prepared from these answers. None of this is currently published.
- Paused research questionnaire: research activity through Microsoft Forms is paused and this website no longer links to the questionnaire. Responses already submitted remain in the founder’s personal Microsoft account.
- Administrator sign-in: account details and sign-in records for authorised administrators.
Because we are a Christian initiative, information you send may reveal your religious beliefs, which is “special category” data under UK GDPR. We do not assume anything about your faith because you contacted us.
3. Emailing us
We use emails you send to reply to you and, where you ask, to explore whether and how you might contribute to or partner with Kingdom Initiative. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in answering correspondence that people choose to send us and exploring relevant involvement they have asked about. We use only what is needed for that, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Sending us an email is not consent to marketing.
Please do not send sensitive personal information (for example about health or detailed religious beliefs) or documents at this initial stage. Sending an email is not treated as explicit consent to process sensitive information. If you send such information unprompted, we will use it only as far as needed to reply, will not record it elsewhere, and will delete what we do not need.
Routine inactive enquiries, including the Gmail correspondence, are deleted 12 months after the last meaningful contact unless we record a specific continuing need and a next review date. This does not automatically apply to active contributor relationships, disputes or research evidence, which are reviewed separately.
4. Historical submissions and research records
- Historical contributor and enquiry submissions were collected under our legitimate interests in responding and assessing involvement, with separate optional consent for updates and, where ticked, explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) UK GDPR) for information revealing religious beliefs. You can withdraw these consents at any time using the link in any update email or by emailing us. No update emails are currently being sent.
- Research respondents confirmed they consented to their “responses being used anonymously for Kingdom Initiative research, programme design and insight development.” That agreed use does not make the linkable underlying records anonymous. The legal basis for continuing to hold identifiable research answers that may reveal religious beliefs is still under review, as is how long they will be kept. Imports and automatic syncing are disabled, and no records have been deleted.
- If research findings are published in future, they will consist only of grouped totals with small-group and subtraction protections, and this notice will be updated first.
5. Who we share it with
Information is accessible only to authorised Kingdom Initiative administrators who need it. We do not sell personal information. We use:
- Lovable — website hosting and the platform through which our database (Lovable Cloud) is provided; it processes hosting and security logs and stores the historical records described above.
- Google (Gmail, consumer account) — receives and stores emails sent to our address. Google decides how its consumer service processes data, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Forms (personal account) — holds the original research responses, subject to the Microsoft Services Agreement and Microsoft Privacy Statement. It is not covered by a business Microsoft 365 data processing agreement.
6. How long we keep it
- Routine inactive email enquiries: deleted 12 months after last meaningful contact, unless a specific continuing need and next review date are recorded.
- Historical website submissions: reviewed 12 months after last contact, then deleted unless there is a documented reason to keep them.
- Consent and withdrawal records: kept only as needed to evidence consent and handle rights requests.
- Historical research records: retention period not yet decided; kept privately pending that decision.
- Hosting and security logs: kept by our hosting provider under its own retention arrangements, which we have not yet confirmed.
Deletion is done by manual administrator review, not automatically. Deleting live records may not immediately remove copies in provider backups.
7. Security
The website uses encrypted connections. Stored records are restricted to authorised administrators and are not accessible through public website code or public database access.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy, depending on the circumstances.
Right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests (for example in replying to and following up your email), you can object at any time and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds. This is separate from withdrawing consent, which applies only where we relied on your consent (optional updates or religious-belief information in historical submissions); withdrawal does not affect processing before it. To exercise any right, email kingdominitiativecid@gmail.com.
9. Communications
We do not currently send newsletters or marketing updates. If we start, we will only email people who gave separate consent, and every update will include a way to unsubscribe.
10. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, and our pages do not set cookies for visitors. When an administrator signs in, their browser stores a sign-in token that is strictly necessary for that sign-in. Our typefaces are served from our own website. Clicking “Email us” opens your own email application; it does not send anything to us automatically.
11. International transfers
Our database is located in Ireland, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data. This describes where the database is located; it does not mean all processing takes place there. Our hosting provider and its service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States, for example when delivering pages, providing support or maintaining security. Emails in Gmail and responses in Microsoft Forms are stored by Google and Microsoft in locations they determine, which may be outside the UK, as described in their privacy statements.
12. Complaints
Please contact us first at kingdominitiativecid@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
